We at MARS have been funding the maintenance and feeding of dogs at two major municipal corporation pounds namely:
- Kannamapet Pound
- Lloyds Pound
Since October 2019 MARS has permission from the city Corporation to feed 120-150 dogs daily at each pound, averaging to about 300 dogs in total in both the pounds.
AT KANNAMAPET POUND

Replacement and repair of doors on rusted kennels. |
WORKER SUPPORT
Workers are paid to cook food, transport and clean kennels twice daily. |
POUND UPKEEP
Regular fumigation to keep ticks and fleas away. |
| ANIMAL HEALTH
Medication for normal health issues and for animals unfit for surgery. |
PREVENTATIVE AID
Vaccinations are being arranged with the aid of sponsors. |
PRIVATE VETS
Animal health & surgical intervention. |
